Well-- we are HOME from school!! HURRAY!! I'm going back tomorrow to write one more exam, and them I am done with school until it starts in September!!
I've been busy with work (started on Tuesday) and worked all week trying to get the golf course ready for open. Unfortunately, Mother Nature was against us, and dumped a whole load of snow on us so the course couldn't open. Too bad. This week will be busy- but I'm excited to be back at work. Lawrence is in the process of finding jobs. He has a few lined up right now- so that is great for him. We plan on saving a ton of money this summer...good luck!
Wedding Updates:
1. We finished our Marriage Preparation Course through Calgary Counselling Centre. It was a 2 day- 10 hour course...and I'm not sure we would have survived if our friends Tyson and his fiance Sara hadn't of been there. The course was good- but we've already discussed a lot of the things we talked about..so it wasn't as beneficial as it could have been.
2. Invitations are started. I spent all week gathering addresses, writing them out in pencil first and then re-writing them in my special pen. They look fabulous! Dad and I printed off all the invitations and RSVPs today and they look AMAZING!! I cannot wait to start decorating them. They will look incredible.
3. We've looked at bedroom furniture and have picked out the set that we want. It's at Ikea...and luckily for us- affordable. We are going to be buying it in pieces so that it's not so damaging on our bank accounts.
Other then that- nothing much has happened on the Wedding side of things. I have a lot left to do- hard to believe (lol) I know...but it will all get done in due time.
Anyways, we hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for summer. I'm off to finish my studying and to hit the sheets.
Take Care...
Love,
Erin and Lawrence

138 days left...
Hi all!
Where has the time gone?!?!?!?! I cannot believe that in 138 days we'll be getting married!! We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter and spent some time with their families. Lawrence and I went home for Easter so it was nice to get out of town, but made us realize how much we have yet to do before the end of classes on the 16th.
Mom and I got a TON of stuff during the Michaels sale this past weekend so we are feeling good about all of our/my DIY projects for the wedding. We got some really great prices on a lot of the items that we needed.
Here is an update:
1. Both Lawrence's mom and my mom have their wedding outfits. They are gorgeous- and our moms will be glowing on our wedding day.
2. We purchased all the favour boxes-- hurray!
3. All of my bridesmaids have tried on their dresses- and they look amazing. They look so beautiful in the dresses and the colour is so complimentary. I love them!
4. Our Flowergirl has tried on her dress as well. She looked like a little princess. I cannot wait to see her in it again once we've made all the changes to it. She is going to be so cute at the wedding.
5. My mom and I made the necklace that I will be wear on our wedding day. It looks absolutely amazing. I'm glad the we were able to figure out how to make it, because I don't think we could have found exactly what I wanted.
6. We bought Lawrence's wedding tie. It is really unique and will look fabulous on him. It compliments both of our colours (green and silver) and goes nicely with the bridesmaid dresses.
7. My mom bought us a cake topper (not your traditional one, but we both love it) and we are both very excited about that. We also got a cake pedestal that we will use to put our wedding cake on. My parents gave that to us as our Easter present.
Well, I guess that is about it for now. As soon as school is done, I'll be able to get a move on some things. I have yet to make the invitations, but that is #1 on the list of things to do once we get back to Calgary.
We hope everyone is doing fine and we hope you will keep checking back. Updates will become more frequent once school is done.
Love,
Erin and Lawrence
