Hey Everyone,
I apologise that updates have been few and far between this last little while. Schools been kicking me in the butt- so I've been really trying to focus 100% on getting everything done and making it to April 16 (last day of classes)! My fingers have also proved to be an obstacle, one that I've learned to deal with. The last splint comes off tomorrow...so hopefully things are healed. My fingers are still pretty bruised, but I need to start moving them so they don't cease.
Anyways, onto more exciting wedding news!
1. We have both of our wedding bands. We went and picked mine up last week (HURRAY) and we plan on getting them engraved ASAP by a guy here in Lethbridge. We are both really excited about our wedding bands, and cannot wait until we get to wear them forever.
2. The Bridesmaid Dresses are IN!! Yey!! We ordered them about 2 and a half months ago, and I wasn't expecting them until mid-April, BUT THEY ARE IN, and Mom is going to pick them up on Saturday. Since we are going home for Easter, the girls and I are going to get together on the Thursday night to have a little trying-on-dresses party. I really can't wait to see them on in the right colour! Now that we have the dresses we will be able to get all the colour things in order (eg: Ties, ribbon, paper etc...) and I'm really looking forward to that!
3. We've decided on the favours. They are going to be a lot of work- but they are totally going to be worth it. I would love to tell you what they are, but that would spoil the surprise. Looks like you'll have to come to the wedding to see what they are!
Well, that is all folks. I have to head off to class now, but I wanted to update because it had been so long. I'll probably post something more after Easter...in the mean time..
Take Care,
Love,

NEWS!!
Hi Everyone!
Hope all is going well in your neck of the woods. Things here have been rocky the last couple days. For those who don't know- on Wednesday I broke my ring and middle fingers on my left (wedding) hand. Luckily I got my engagement ring off before my ring finger puffed up like a balloon. There was no way they were going to be cutting that ring off!! It has been a fairly painful ordeal, especially straightening my fingers to put them in the splint, and the hole in my nail to relieve the pressure. The throbbing has continued but it much less today then it was Wednesday night. I'm finding it difficult to do everyday things like doing my hair and putting deodorant on. Luckily I've got a great guy by my side- helping me along. Seriously though- not every guy would take you to the hospital in Raymond at 9:30pm on a school night! ha ha. He's been helping out a lot- pretty much doing my dishes-- which are nearly impossible to do with a splint on. I'll probably have these splints on for about 3 weeks-- so it could get interesting.
Other then that- school is going fine, almost done- just a few (5) more weeks to go! Lawrence and I are both looking forward to this. As for wedding things, we are still trying to decide on favours. It is proving to be quite difficult we both want something different. We'll just have to wait and see how things go.
I'll post a picture of my splints-- my poor big swollen hand. ha ha!

Hey Everyone!
Well this morning was quite a productive morning. We had no intentions of doing anything wedding related- but we actually got a lot accomplished.
1. I returned my first pair of wedding shoes (they were not white enough) and bought a new pair. I like these ones a lot. They are so PRETTY!
2. We bought my wedding band. It is currently on Lay-away so we can pay it off in intervals and the jewelery store will just keep it until we pay for it all. My friend Jenn works at Ben Moss and she gave us a sweet deal- which is GREATLY appreciated. Kudos Jenn!
3. We found our cake topper. We both wanted something unique and "us". Neither of us really like the 'traditional' bride and groom cake toppers, so when we found this one- we both loved it. It is by Kim Lawrence (ha ha) and it's from a collection called Circle of Love. The figurine/cake topper that we picked is called "Kiss". It is so pretty. It's not very tall so it will fit perfectly on top of the cake, AND we can still incorporate the flowers, AND it is white so it will match the cake.
4. We also picked out our song for the first dance. It's so perfect and I'm happy that we finally agree on a song. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait to the wedding to find out what it is.
I'm really pleased with how things are working out. We hope things are going well with all our family and friends.
